Delete your LiftLab account
You can request permanent deletion even if LiftLab is no longer installed. This deletes the LiftLab account and the server data associated with it.
Request deletion by email
Email us from the address connected to your LiftLab account, if possible. Use the subject LiftLab account deletion request. If you used Apple's Hide My Email, include the relay address shown on your LiftLab Account screen. We may ask for a limited verification step before deleting an account, but we will never ask for your password, purchase token, or full payment details.
Request account deletionRequests are handled as soon as identity is verified and no later than 30 days after a valid request.
Delete directly in the app
- Open Settings, then LiftLab Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm Delete permanently.
The authenticated in-app path removes your account and its server-side data after required storage deletion succeeds. If connectivity or storage removal fails, the app keeps the request available for retry. For an older Apple-linked account, signing in with Apple again may be required before deletion can begin. Workout data stored only on that phone or tablet remains on the device until you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
What is deleted
- Your LiftLab account profile and linked Google or Apple sign-in identity.
- Account sessions and server-side subscription entitlement records.
- Synchronized account records, deletion markers, and cloud snapshots from every device connected to the account.
- Progress photos for all four poses — front, left side, right side and back — including their metadata and private stored image objects.
- Legacy server-generated training reports and report-job records.
- Crash reports, bug reports, and suggestions submitted from an installation while it was connected to the account.
For Sign in with Apple, a protected credential is kept in a separate revocation request until Apple confirms authorization revocation; failed requests are retried. A confirmation-secret hash and install identifier remain for up to 30 days to recover confirmation after a lost response. When RevenueCat is configured, a separate cleanup request retains your encrypted account identifier until RevenueCat accepts customer deletion; failed requests are retried. These records cannot recreate your account or training data.
Deleting the account does not erase the local LiftLab database or any XLSX/PDF/CSV report you saved or shared from your devices. You can remove local app data through the operating system by clearing app data or uninstalling LiftLab, and remove saved report copies from the destination where you placed them.
Subscription cancellation is separate
Deleting your LiftLab account does not cancel a Google Play or Apple App Store subscription. Use Manage subscription on the LiftLab Account screen, or the matching store link below, to prevent its next renewal. Account deletion can still proceed before or after cancellation.
Other server data
If you never created a LiftLab account or want to delete server reports from a particular installation, use Settings > Legal & privacy > Delete my server data. On iOS this requires the original App Attest device key and an enabled, supported verification service. iOS diagnostic reports use a separate installation identity and are not automatically erased by account deletion. If the in-app request is unavailable, email your Install ID to [email protected]. The Install ID is shown in the same Legal & privacy section.
For the full description of collected data and retention periods, read the LiftLab Privacy Policy.
